Village Frame Shoppe specializes in custom archival, conservation and preservation framing,
proper mounting of needlework and in shadow boxes for your cherished memoribilia.
Items brought in for framing are usually available within 5 to 10 days,
depending on the availability of the products required for the job.
(“Next day” service may be arranged at additional cost.)
Only acid-free / lignin-free matting is used to assure the best protection
for your artwork, fabric-work, shadow-boxes, etc.
Custom picture framing & custom designed mats may take several days to complete.
The recommended glazing for your framed piece(s) is Museum Glass or Conservation Clear glass
which provides protection for your framed piece from fading due to light exposure;
Non-reflective and Clear glass are also available.
In cases where glass breakage may be of concern, non-abrasion acrylic with UV protection is available.
Also available:
Plaque Lamination – permanent protection to your photo, poster,newspaper article,
award certificate, jigsaw puzzle, etc., by laminating to 3/8” MDF board.
